 A Sound of Thunder

Very strong work, force thinking about man's place in nature and history, about the dangers of time travel, of the chain mechanism exponentially and the power of human fear. Much attention is paid to the personal tragedy of the protagonist. For a long time he thought he was invincible, fearless hunter and able to cope with any opponent. But he is running away from a dinosaur. Very bright and volume describes all the action, all the hunting scene. And then - an attempt to overcome his fear to save his own life. Protagonist was forced to approach the tyrannosaur. The final blow - to return home.  Future still changed. For me, the changes seem strange. One would expect their manifestations in various forms, well, hard to imagine such a narrowly focused action as changing results of presidential elections in a single country. But we have the opportunity to come up with yourself, what else has changed under the influence of a butterfly.
